Our Programs
Following is a listing of some of our current or recent "Partners In Prevention" programs. Fogarty Memorial School PTO
Fogarty Memorial School PTO is working as a "Partner in Prevention" with CAST by sponsoring a wide variety of after-school
enrichment programs. These programs, offered at no cost to the FMS students, are run by parent and community volunteers with
financial support provided by CAST and the PTO. Following are some examples of the clubs offered in the past: Legos Club; Puzzle
Club; Board Games; Creative Writing; Basketball; Cheerleading; Gingerbread House Making; Track & Field; Arts & Crafts; Italian Club;
Yoga; The Great Outdoors; Homework Club; Chess Club; Book Clubs; Kayak Club; and Rock Climbing.

Ponaganset Middle School NICOteen Program
Ponaganset Middle School is working as a "Partner in Prevention" with CAST in its anti-smoking project. Lynne Donnelly, Health
Educator, uses the NICOteen Program sponsored by CAST to help youth make healthy choices, especially in the area of decisions to smoke or not to smoke.

Summer Shakespeare
Each summer CAST, in partnership with fosteringArts.org and Droll Yankee of Foster, provides two free
outdoor performances of Shakespeare by Trinity Repertory Theatre. This popular family-oriented event has become immensely popular, offering a smoke-free and alcohol-free theatre venue for locals.
